Secretary of State John Kerry has just given Egypt $450,000,000 of a total of $1,000,000,000 that has been pledged by the US government. Of course, most of the money will go to line the pockets of the already wealthy in that country.

The people have strayed from their founding ideals, that is, to advance the Christian faith. This is what they get.

America was once the shining beacon of the world. It was known for its dignity and righteousness  But how things have changed.

America has had all of these unrighteous wars over the decades. The Spanish-American War, World Wars I & II, Korea, Vietnam, and the more recent debacles in the Middle East.

Furthermore, there have been over fifty million (50,000,000) abortions since it became legal in the year 1973.

The prophet Isaiah puts it plainly when he foretells what has happened.

Isaiah 1:21  How the faithful city has become a harlot! It was full of justice; Righteousness lodged in it, But now murderers.

The LORD God promised to punish His people when they strayed.

Amos 3:10  ‘For they do not know to do right,’ Says the LORD, ‘Who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.’

Amos 3:11  Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: ‘An adversary shall be all around the land; He shall sap your strength from you, And your palaces shall be plundered.’

But the LORD God keeps his word. Praise God! There will be punishment and payback for those doing the plundering.

Isaiah 33:1  Woe to you who plunder, though you have not been plundered; And you who deal treacherously, though they have not dealt treacherously with you! When you cease plundering, You will be plundered; When you make an end of dealing treacherously, They will deal treacherously with you.

Below is just the tip of the iceberg.

(excerpts from article)

Cairo (CNN) — Calling it a “good-faith effort” to help the Egyptian people, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry released $250 million in economic aid Sunday, with a pledge of more if President Mohamed Morsy implements economic and political reforms.

In addition to Sunday’s $190 million, there is an additional $260 million in budget support funds still pending. And in a separate tranche of money, there is a further $550 million for scholarships and loan guarantees. Release of these funds will depend on Morsy’s following through on political as well as economic steps.
