Russian general says USA to have same fate as USSR Tuesday, Oct 2 2012

A retired Russian military general says that the Global Mafia controls the United States. He says that the US has 5% of the world’s population yet it uses 50% of the world’s energy and that the Global Mafia deems that to be a problem.

He says that the national politicians make internal and external policy decisions for the United States; but they are amateurs compared to the ones in the Global Mafia.

The Global Mafia, according to the General, is preparing for the United States exactly the same fate that the Soviet Union had twenty plus years ago – dissolution.

This video seems to tell about what has been foretold in the Book of Revelation.

Revelation 18:19  They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’

Two suns in the sky, end of age prophecy told at Malachi 4:2 Thursday, Feb 2 2012

End of the age, Great Day Of The LORD, prophecy from Malachi:

Malachi 4:1 “For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the LORD of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch.

Malachi 4:2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

Malachi 4:3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the LORD of hosts.

Iran photographs USS John Stennis in the Persian Gulf Thursday, Dec 29 2011

Things are getting more interesting by the day.

The Iranian military says that it has photographed a US aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf region. It was probably the USS John C. Stennis. A news report says that the supercarrier has been re-assigned to the Persian Gulf region.

Iran boasts of surveillance of U.S. aircraft carrier as tensions with Tehran continue to rise

Iran has ramped up its war of words with the U.S. – by revealing it filmed and photographed one of its aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf.

Tensions between the two countries are escalating on an almost daily basis over Iran’s ongoing 10-day navy drill near the strategic Strait of Hormuz – the passageway for one-sixth of the world’s oil supply.

Official IRNA news agency reported today that a surveillance plane obtained the footage in what has been seen as a clear indication that Iran wants to cast its navy as having a powerful role in the region’s waters. Read report on UK Daily Mail.

USS Stennis closes out one war, moves to another

BREMERTON – USS John C. Stennis sailors didn’t get much time to celebrate the end of the Iraq War before refocusing on other hostilities in the region.

The Bremerton-based aircraft carrier launched the final sortie into Iraq on Dec. 18, then headed out of the Persian Gulf toward the Arabian Sea where it can better support troops fighting in Afghanistan.

To get there, it had to sail through the narrow Strait of Hormuz, which Iran’s navy chief blustered Wednesday his country could easily close and cut off transport of one-third of the world’s oil tanker traffic.

Iran’s Navy also is in the midst of a 10-day drill in international waters near the oil route, involving submarines, missile drills, torpedoes and drones, according to The Associated Press. Read rest of the report.

Iran is showcasing its military hardware in the ongoing naval war games in the Gulf of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz.

They have tested a domestically-built torpedo. They have also launched Ghadir class submarines.

Middle East news sources also say that Iran has tested a spy drone of their own.

Iran tests Ajdar underwater missile during wargames

Iran has successfully tested the Ajdar underwater missile during the “Velayat 90” Naval war game, Deputy Commander of the IRI Navy Admiral Seyyed Mahmoud Mousavi said, IRNA reported.

Mousavi also added that so far all has been going successful, according to plans.

Earlier on Dec. 22, it was reported that the Naval war games ould be staged in a large area from the east side of the Strait of Hormuz in the Gulf of Oman to the northern Indian Ocean, adding that in terms of intelligence, the maneuvers would cover a vast area stretching from the northern Indian Ocean to the Gulf of Aden.

It has also been announced that submarines of the Ghadir Class and other classes, warships, missile-firing destroyers, coast-to-sea missile systems, drones, and electronic warfare equipment will be tested during the exercises.

The commander of the Iranian Navy, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said that the war games would be conducted in the vicinity of Oman, Yemen, Pakistan, India, and northern Somalia and would be conducted in accordance with international regulations.

The maneuvers are set to display the prowess of Iran’s armed forces as well as the Navy’s defensive and deterrent power and its capability to provide security for vessels sailing on the open seas. Read report.

Russian tunnel under the Beiring Strait may be fulfillment of Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 Tuesday, Dec 27 2011

Many are not aware of this issue but Russia is planning to build a tunnel under the Bering Strait. The sixty mile plus tunnel would connect Siberia with Alaska.

Considering the hostilities between Russia and the United States, which have been brewing for years now, why on earth would Russia want to build a tunnel to connect to the North American continent? Could it be for legitimate commerce or are the Russians planning an eventual invasion of North America?

According to an article on Forbes dot com the Russian government has already approved funding for the project: “Russia Reportedly Planning to Build Tunnel Under Bering Strait”

Now Ezekiel Chapter 38 is a latter day or end of the age prophecy. It tells of a land of unwalled villages where a peaceful people dwell safely. The prophecy could not be talking about the old promised land because the old Jerusalem has many walled off areas.

The following two verses are what Gog from the land of Magog tells himself:

Ezekiel 38:11 “You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ —

Ezekiel 38:12 “to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.

Ezekiel 38:15 “Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.

Then in Ezekiel Chapter 39 God tells Gog that he will bring them “up from the north.”

Ezekiel 39:2 “and I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel.

How do you come “up” from the north? Simple. Russia’s army is going to go up to Siberia, then cross the Bering Strait, then flood their troops into North America.

Russia has giant tunnel boring machines. The city of Moscow has a tunnel called the Lefortovo Tunnel. It has a length of about two miles. It was opened in the year 2003. Russia may already be building a tunnel under the Bering Strait. Time will tell.

Global military buildup for World War III Sunday, Dec 25 2011

In this video by Global Research TV the host James Corbett analyzes conflicts around the globe. One of the commentators in the video, Michael Chossodovsky, says that the US Congress has declared the use of tactical nuclear weapons on the battlefield in a likely conflict with Iran as safe for the surrounding population.

From the video:
“The world’s attention is increasingly focused on Syria and Iran as the region continues to move toward military confrontation.

Less noticed, however, is that the pieces are being put into place for a truly global conflict, with military buildup taking place in every region and threatening to draw in all of the world’s major powers.”

Iran to hold naval drills in International waters near US navy ships Friday, Dec 23 2011

More sabre rattling. The AP news report says that the Iranian naval exercises could bring their warships into close proximity to US warships.

Iran has got a fairly significant navy. They have 26 submarines. Four of the submarines are reported to be the Russian Kilo class which is a 1982 vintage technology. The Kilo class submarine looks like it has about the same capabilities as the German WWII U-boats except that it may be armed with anti-ship missiles – a potential game changer.

The Kilo class submarine also is armed with torpedoes and mines which are also potential game changers.

According to this UPI dot com news report Iran has started building its own submarines: “Iran set to unveil new submarine class”

Below is a listing of Iran’s naval hardware according to an article in Wikipedia:
28,000 personnel
65 aircraft
5 Frigates
3 Corvettes
26 Submarines
24 Fast Attack Craft
98 Large Patrol craft
+100 light missile boat
16 Hovercraft

Associated Press report:

Iran’s navy to hold drill in international waters

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s navy chief said Thursday his forces plan to hold a 10-day drill in international waters beyond the strategic Strait of Hormuz at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, an exercise that could bring Iranian ships into proximity with U.S. Navy vessels.

The drill will be Iran’s latest show of strength in the face of mounting international criticism over its controversial nuclear program, which the West fears is aimed at producing atomic weapons — charges that Tehran denies, insisting the program is for peaceful purposes only. Iran’s navy earlier this year had warships in the Suez canal for the first time in three decades or since the Shah of Iran was in power. The Shah of Iran was  puppet for the US government.

Israeli web site claims Iran has started building a nuclear weapon Thursday, Dec 22 2011

An Israeli web site, which bills itself as an espionage web site, says that the nation of Iran has began building a nuclear weapon. DEBKAfile says that according to their sources in Washington, DC, Iran has embarked on “activities related to possible weaponization.”

There may be some credibility issues with DEBKAfile. Or, they could be telling the truth. Time will tell. Either way it seems that the current path will surely lead to an attack on Iran and probably World War III.

According to the report:

Iran starts building a nuclear weapon: US and Israel tighten cooperation

Iran has embarked on “activities related to possible weaponization,” said American sources Thursday, Dec. 22, thereby accounting for the dramatic reversal of the Obama administration’s wait-and-see attitude on attacking Iran. The change  was articulated this week by US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint US Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey.

The US military says they are ready for a pre-emptive attack against Iran Wednesday, Dec 21 2011

We are one step closer to an all out war. A war that probably will result in World War III.

Those in charge of the US military, General Martin Dempsey and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, say that they are ready to launch a a pre-emptive strike on Iran.

That would be a serious mistake. Iran has a population of 78 million persons. It produces its own warplanes, submarines, and tanks. It also has Russian made submarines.

Iran has a fleet of F-4 and F-14 fighter planes that it got from the US back in the 1970’s decade. Those planes were made with old technology. But they can still shoot missiles at targets.

But the wild card is North Korea. As soon as the US becomes embroiled in a war with Iran North Korea may launch a military strike against South Korea. North Korea has nuclear ICBMs that can reach the North American continent.

Bible Times Today earlier made a blog entry about North Korea’s military capabilities.

N. Korean leader Kim Jong Ill dies, South Korea braces for possible invation

The US cannot defeat the entire world. The prophet Obadiah tells us what is going to happen:

Obadiah 1:2 Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

Obadiah 1:1:3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

Obadiah 1:1:4 Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

US military ‘ready to engage in a conflict with Iran’

America’s most senior military official has indicated that the country is ready to engage in a conflict with Iran, if President Barack Obama were to give the signal.

General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the US joint chiefs of staff, said that the US military had reached a point where they were ready to execute force against Iran if necessary.

Gen Dempsey said he had been quietly leading behind the scenes preparations for an attack against Tehran but said a war with the nation would be a “tragedy”.

“My biggest worry is that it may miscalculate our resolve. Any miscalculation could mean that we are drawn into conflict and that would be a tragedy for the region and the world,” he said. Read report on UK Telegraph.

Panetta: Iran will not be allowed nukes

The U.S. Secretary of Defense said Monday night that Iran will not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon. In an interview, Leon Panetta, said despite the efforts to disrupt the Iranian nuclear program, the Iranians have reached a point where they can assemble a bomb in a year or potentially less. N. Korean leader Kim Jong Ill dies, South Korea braces for possible invasion Monday, Dec 19 2011

North Korea has an extensive network of tunnels. Many of them run underneath the border with South Korea. In the event that N. Korea launches a military assault across the border the S. Korean army will be quickly defeated.

Google search for N. Korea tunnels

The US has 28,500 troops stationed in S. Korea. In the event of a war most of those troops will likely be lost.

North Korea considers the United States to be their primary enemy. They have intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads that can reach the North American continent. In the event that the US interferes with a military invasion by N. Korea they may use them.

South Korea military on emergency alert in swift reaction to Kim Jong-il’s death

South Korea placed its military on a state of high alert as its government reacted swiftly to news of the death of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-il.

Lee Myung-bak, South Korea’s president, immediately convened a national security council meeting and placed government officials on emergency response status, banning all leave and travel.

Mr Lee also ordered its military on emergency alert, increased border air patrols and asked its United States ally, which posts 28,500 troops in the south, to step up surveillance via planes and satellites.

All police officers were also called to work on emergency duty while commanders were discussing “a detailed course of action” in response to the death of the North Korean leader.

No unusual movements have been observed from the north since the announcement that Kim has passed away, paving the way for the likely succession of his son Kim Jung-un.

However, Mr Lee’s swift, systematic and slightly nervous response reflected a widespread regional caution in handling potential issues which may arise with the unpredictable state at a time of major transition. Read rest of report.

Here is a YouTube video that gives a glimpse at one of the N. Korean tunnels.

North Korea digging tunnels for likely nuclear test: report

North Korea is digging tunnels at a site where it has launched two nuclear tests, suggesting it is preparing a third, the South’s Yonhap news agency said on Sunday, a development which would trigger concern across the region. Read Reuters report.

The Rense dot com web site gives a fairly comprehensive analysis of N. Korea’s military ability and their military doctrine regarding a war with the US. The Rense report says that N. Korea sent 100 tunnel warfare experts to help the North Vietnamese build the now-infamous tunnels that North Vietnam used to defeat the US.

Below are excerpts from the Rense report.

N Korea Military Tactics In A War With US

Third, North Korea’s total war plan has two components: massive conventional warfare and weapons of mass destruction.

If the US mounts a preemptive strike on North Korea’s Yongbyon nuclear plants, North Korea will retaliate with weapons of mass destruction: North Korea will mount strategic nuclear attacks on the US targets.

Nuclear weapons are offensive weapons and there is no defense against nuclear attacks except retaliatory nuclear attacks. For this reason, North Korea’s war plan is offensive in nature: North Korea’s war plan goes beyond repulsing US attackers and calls for destruction of the United States. Read entire Rense analysis.
